Your Website Stops Waiting on You

A boss told me once, "Version one is better than version none." That stuck with me.

It's how I think about websites, because a website is never really done. There's the build, and then there's everything after it: the new landing page, the bug, the update you keep putting off. When you still do the client work yourself, you don't have the time or bandwidth for that second part, so it waits.

Web design for small business works best when the people who built the site are the same people who change it next month. So we get version one live, and then the same team keeps making it better.

DeskTeam360 is different than outsourcing overseas. With our insourcing model, you work with the same developers, designers, and technical Virtual Assistants getting to know you and how you like things done.

If insourcing is a new word for you, picture a web team down the hall that you didn't have to hire. We brought our team in-house, into one office, under one roof. You send the task, they build it, and you get your time back.

What the Team Builds, Fixes and Keeps Up

The work runs anywhere from a quick homepage update to a full website rebuild. Here's what you can send.

  • Website builds and redesigns in WordPress, React and other CMSs
  • Landing pages and GoHighLevel funnels
  • WooCommerce stores and custom WordPress builds
  • Bug fixes and development requests
  • API integrations and custom features
  • Content updates, image swaps and copy changes
  • Security updates and malware protection
  • WordPress and Webflow upkeep
  • Page layout polish, pricing tables and light on-page optimization work you brief
  • Monthly website maintenance and backups

Website maintenance is included in your plan. That means WordPress core, plugin and theme updates, security monitoring and malware scanning, speed optimization, backups, and uptime monitoring. The details are on our website care and tech support page.

One thing I'd rather say up front. The team builds the page, and you bring the words.

Run a service business, not an agency? There's more for you on our small business page. And websites are only one kind of work you can send. The rest is on the big list of tasks to hand off.

How a Website Gets Built Here, One Task at a Time

Here's how the work moves, start to finish.

First, you tell us what you need. Drop a task into our request form or send an email. Write it out, record a Loom video, or attach a doc. It can be one line, like "Redesign our homepage."

Second, your North American account manager reads your task, assigns it to the right specialist, and checks the work before it ever reaches you. You don't deal with the team directly unless you want to.

Third, you review it and ask for changes. Revisions are unlimited on every plan. Then the next task starts. Most tasks ship in 1 to 3 business days.

A full website is bigger than one task. So we break it into tasks and do them in order, and your account manager keeps you updated. You can line up as many tasks as you want. Your plan sets how many run at the same time.

So who's doing the work? With our insourcing model, everyone is coming into an actual office. It has new computers, three internet providers, and two backup power sources. A team leader works in the office with the team and holds them accountable.

Every plan comes with a North American account manager, a team leader, 2 developers, 2 technical Virtual Assistants, 2 designers, and me on 2 weekly group calls. You work with the same people every month, so the developers who work on your site this month already know it next month.

A Preschool Site Where Parents Can Now Apply Online

The Lands End School is a preschool in San Francisco. They started working with us in early 2020. Before that, their site was just a landing page with their contact information.

The team built them a new one. Their case study says parents can now fill out applications and schedule tours online.

Here's what the school said to anyone thinking about a website with us: “Just Do It! I’ve Been Extremely Pleased With The Work, And I’ve Had No Issues Or Complaints At All”

You can read how The Lands End School got a site where parents apply and book tours online. There's a longer story on the site too, called “How One Teacher Built a $150K Education Business Starting With Just a Vision”. That one is about Special Ed Resource. And you can look through website work the team has done on our Showcase page.

Over 400 businesses served since 2018.

Questions People Ask Before They Hand Off a Website

How does a full website build work if my plan is one task at a time?

Bigger projects get broken into tasks and completed in sequence. Your account manager keeps you updated as each one is done. You can line the tasks up ahead of time, so when the team finishes one, the next one starts.

Which platforms does the team build in?

The team works in tools such as WordPress, React, Webflow and WooCommerce, plus other CMSs. We plug into your existing tech stack.

Do you write the copy for my pages?

The words need to come from you or your copywriter, and the team builds the page. If you help us train AI on your voice, the team can write for you. Once you send the words, content updates and copy changes are regular tasks.

Do I have to sign a contract to get a website built?

No, there are no contracts. Our plans are one flat monthly rate. It's month to month, so you can cancel any time. While you're on a plan, tasks are unlimited, so the site doesn't have to be the only thing you send.

I run an agency. Can the team build sites for my clients?

Yes, and white label work is on all plans. The team works under your brand. Our name doesn't appear on the work, in emails, or in the project system. Sidekick Marketing does marketing in the electronics repair industry. Their case study says the work the team did for them was mainly website and design tasks. There's more on our white label page.

What happens to my website work if a developer is out?

When someone's out sick or on vacation, the team keeps moving. Every plan comes with 2 developers, and a team leader works in the office with them. Your account manager still checks the work before it reaches you.
